The Eco Pod Texel – industrial features finished with natural materials gives this unit a burly curb appeal. It’s constructed out of a 20 foot shipping container (surface 14.7 m2 / 150 sq.ft). The Eco Pod Texel can be used as an office or a guest studio to accommodate 2 persons max. The living area is equipped with a Murphy bed (pull down bed system) which makes it an ideal solution to turn your office workspace into a studio for occasional sleepovers. Furthermore, this unit features lots of storage space, a tiled bathroom with shower, washbasin, and toilet. This unit is designed to be grid-tied.
Options
A kitchenette with cabinets for built-in appliances, a sink and faucet, including connections for (1) a gas stove or (2) electric stove and or (3) a washing machine or a (4) dishwasher is optional. Furthermore, the unit excludes appliances such as a stove (hub), oven, microwave, refrigerator, exhaust, dishwasher. It can be designed as Hybrid or Off-Grid meaning supplying your own electricity and hot water via solar, recycling “grey” water to reduce your utility bills and a lot more!
